In addition to overall analysis of 419, in the writing of this book the author has also drawn on his own experiences and those of others with the 419ers.

"Mountains of Gold" by Y.M.M. Schoenmakers, E. de Vries Robbe en A.Ph. van Wijk. In the last decades 419 fraud activities based in The Netherlands have grown from nearly nothing to unprecedented proportions. This book reports on an exploratory research project on Nigerian 419-fraud and its perpetrators, that was carried out in 2008 by Bureau Beke and the Netherlands Police Academy.
