These photos were taken at the inaugural HorrorFind Weekend event in Baltimore, MD. The wife and I had a fabulous time, and we look forward to attending again next year. WARNING: This page takes a lifetime to load. Go take a nap-- when you wake, this page should be almost done loading.

l-to-r, Weston Ochse, Gary W. Conner, David Whitman

Oddly, David Whitman (r) is not much of a drinker, but he's the only one holding a beer (for the record, it's a Red Dog). Weston Ochse (l) and I elected to deny our alcoholic tendencies on film.

The Ouija Board session

Mason Winfield, paranormal expert, explains the workings of the Ouija board to my wife (white shirt) and Feo Amante (shaved head). Weston Ochse (far left), sensible detractor (like myself), waits for all hell to break loose.

l-to-r, Donn Gash, Paul Melniczek, Sheri White, Feo Amante, Kevin Mitchell

Feo Amante prepares to give Sheri White a massage (or quite possibly just throttle her) as Paul Melniczek (second from left) and Kevin Mitchell (right) look on. Donn Gash (l) is completely uninterested in Sheri's fate.

The Building a Webzine panel Saturday morning

Weston Ochse (l) explains his sleeve phobia to myself and John Urbancik (second from right). Michael Oliveri (r) observes the audience reaction, hoping like Hell that they're as bored as he is.

Sheri White

Sheri White checks her copy of the HorrorFind anthology to make sure her story is still in it. In the background, Kevin Mitchell hatches devious plans.

Ken Foree, w/fans

Ken Foree (DAWN OF THE DEAD) chats with fans.

Michael Oliveri (l) and Brian Keene's back

Michael Oliveri lectures Brian Keene (seated) about hanging out in the bar when there is work to be done.

The horror crowd is a thirsty one.

Foreground, left-to-right: Brian Keene's back; Brian A. Hopkins; Teri Jacobs; Judi Rohrig; Matt Warner; John Urbancik. In the background are Marcy Italiano and her husband, as well as Feo Amante, who is sitting with Patricia Lee Macomber and David Niall Wilson.

Michael Berryman

Michael Berryman (THE HILLS HAVE EYES) chats with a fan.

The CHIZINE table

(From left) Feo Amante, Steve Eller, Patricia Lee Macomber, and David Niall Wilson discuss the state of horror. Trish stabs a nacho at the air to underscore her point.

The CHIZINE table

Feo Amante attempts to purloin a nacho, but Trish deftly blocks the move. David Wilson is caught mid-bird-flip.

Brian A. Hopkins, Teri Jacobs, Mark Lancaster, Paul Melniczek

Mark Lancaster wipes a tear from his eye after being on the receiving end of one of Brian A. Hopkins' scathing one-liners. Teri Jacobs (standing) seems concerned, while Paul Melniczek is simply stunned.

Reggie Bannister, w/Ana B. Conner

Reggie Bannister (the PHANTASM series) poses for a picture with my wife, Ana. This was the highlight of her weekend.

Bruce Campbell

Bruce Campbell (the EVIL DEAD series)

Bruce Campbell, w/fan

Bruce Campbell chats with one of his many fans.

Bruce Campbell explains his method of kicking ass using various martial arts techniques.

Left-to-right: my wife Ana, myself, Sheri White, Kevin Mitchell, and Feo Amante. Most of those empties belong to Sheri. Kevin, tired of photographs, threatens the photographer.

l-to-r, Ana Conner, Gary W. Conner, Sheri White

You'll note that Sheri is not seated in the Official Sheri White Chair, which was actually across the table.

The culmination of a long day camped out in the bar. Marcy Italiano, bottom left, expresses her displeasure with the photgrapher.
