Digital Sound with Haunt Timer Control - Aug. 2000
Page 2: Combining ALL Elements*

For sound and prop control you'll need
four additional items:
1)
Interface
2)
PIR Sensor
3)
Event Control Timer [ ECT ]
4)
Multi-socket or Extension Cord (with multi-sockets)
*Note: the first three items are products of Haunt Master Products, Inc.(HMPI)

Here the Interface, which is a relay is shown with the trigger wires (yellow) from the sound board connected to its small terminal strip at top of photo. This terminal strip is also connected by two yellow wires to the relay. Note that the Interface (relay) has a short, white A.C. power cord connected to it.
The photo below shows a Flexible Event Control Timer [ Flex ECT ] with a PIR Sensor and a multi-socket. The PIR Sensor has the same type of small terminal strip that's found on the Interface. Two yellow wires are connected from the PIR's terminal strip to the two "sensor terminals" on the Flex ECT. Now via the multi-socket we're ready to control both sound and prop automatically.

The following photo shows everything interconnected. It's rather busy but you can pick out each element if necessary.

All that's needed to have an operational control system would be to plug the timer into A.C. and plug a prop driver (solenoid valve, motor etc.) into the Multi-socket of the timer. Now both the prop and sound will be fired whenever someone is detected by the PIR Sensor.
