Priority 1 of Mastiff Preservation is to encourage the development of viable linebred outcross mastiffs for the future. A viable
mastiff means one of clean pedigree, correct conformation/type, and soundness of body and temperament.
Priority 2 Develop the National English Mastiff Association - NEMA. www.nema1.org Which primarily caters to the needs
and accountability of the Old English Mastiff Breeder.

British and European imports have been used as foundations for the cultivation of new lines.
Historically, most lines are developed around one dog and littermates.
Consistent line or in-breeding produces our future outcross dogs for tomorrow.
