John beholds the vision of a noble lady robed in blue, with a crown of twelve stars as recorded in Revelation 12:1. As part of the elaborate architectural setting of the scene, eagles are seen -- the symbol of Saint John the Evangelist. The top pane shows a cup and a snake: ordered to drink a cup of poisoned wine, John took the cup and the poison departed in the form of a snake. In loving memory of Abram Lynwood Garber, Husband, Richard Lynwood Garber, Son; and Ella E Bushong and Daniel B. Garber, Elisabeth Senger and Solomon G. Cline, Parents. Given by Edith Cline Garber |
