The Fourteenth Sunday after Pentecost

Selected Readings

Bread for myself is a material question; bread for my neighbor is a spiritual question.

 Jacques Maritain

Anyone who proposes to do good must not expect people to roll stones out of his way, but must accept his lot calmly if they even roll a few more upon it.

Albert Schweitzer

Luther Quote of the Day

All who call on God in true faith, earnestly from the heart, will certainly be heard, and will receive what they have asked and desired, although not in the hour or in the measure, or the very thing which they ask. Yet they will obtain something greater and more glorious than they had dared to ask.

Blessing Our Teachers

We will be blessing all those who serve in the ministry of Christian Formation this morning.
