The Third Sunday of Easter

Selected Readings

There are all different kinds of voices calling you to all different kinds of work, and the problem is to find out which is the voice of God rather than of Society, say, or the Superego, or Self-Interest.

Frederick Buechner

All men should strive to learn before they die, what they are running from and to and why.

James Thurber

Luther Quote of the Day

Now that God has dealt with us so kindly, has given us all that is His and has himself become our own, so that through faith we have all things that are good and needful, what are we to do?  Faith saves us; but love moves us to give ourselves to our neighbor, since our needs have been met.  This means that faith receives from God and that love gives to our neighbor.
