The Fifth Sunday after Pentecost

Selected Readings

The yoke and the cross are twin symbols of Christian experience.   The cross speaks of sacrifice, the yoke speaks of service.  The disciple must bear both.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer

We pray for strength, we ask for forgiveness when we fail, and renew our determination to walk the way with him.   And the good news is, we are not alone.

William Willimon

Luther Quote of the Day

A religion that gives nothing,

costs nothing, and suffers nothing,

is worth nothing.

Senior high grades 9-12 meet in the JCREW room to learn through Bible discussions/activities with Karen Thomsen.

Divorce Care

(433-8377).

Family Movie Night

Mark your Calendars for Friday evening, July 20.  We will have a Family night of fun, fellowship and a movie with your own family and your Muhlenberg church family.  We will gather in the MAC at 6:45 to watch a classic movie for all ages.  Bring your favorite lawn chair, blankets and pillows as we all get comfortable and settle in for a good time.  What a great way to spend a Friday evening!
