The Second Sunday of Lent

Selected Readings

Do not, then, seek Christ elsewhere than where Christ wished Himself to be preached to you; and as He wished Himself to be preached to you, in that fashion hold Him fast, in that manner write Him on your heart."

St. Augustine

How you believe God perceives people will determine how you respond to them.

New Member Classes

“Walking Together by Faith”

New Member Inquiry Classes

Continues TODAY

We invite visitors and friends to journey with us as we explore what it means to be a Christian, a Lutheran, a follower of Jesus and a member of the Muhlenberg family.  We will meet after worship at 12:15 p.m. for lunch and conversation TODAY.  A daytime retreat will be held on Saturday, February 23.  New Members will be received on Sunday, February 24, and there will be a new member luncheon that day as well.  Call Pastor Dave or Pastor Joe for more information at 434-3496.

Membership Directory

If you don't have your pictorial directory binder close to your phone, it's time to find it again.  Pick up an updated active membership directory and neighborhood groups list in the Narthex today (1 per family).

We're missing pictures of our newer members and others who were unavailable fall of 2006.  Through Olan Mills, a “midterm” photography update is April 2 (3-8:30 pm) for those who did not have their picture taken last time.  All members with a pictorial directory will receive the new pages to add to their directory.  Look for sign-ups in March.
