The Third
Sunday of Lent
Selected
We do not need to search for
him. He is the shepherd; we are the sheep.
Harry Emerson Fosdick
Praised be my Lord for our
sister water, who is very serviceable unto us and humble and precious and
clean.
St. Francis of
Luther Quote of the Day
Real wisdom is truly to know
oneself and God, that is, that we are miserable and lost sinners and that God
is merciful, not desirous of casting us away but eager to save us by grace.

Youth Worship Leadership
Members of JCrew and Lutheran-Presbyterian Campus
Ministry are leading worship today at all four liturgies. We thank these young people for sharing their faith journeys and
providing the leadership for our worship experience. May God bless them and everyone as we worship
together.
Welcome New Members
Please welcome our brothers and sisters in Christ who
join the family of God at Muhlenberg by affirming their baptism with us today
at the 11 o’clock worship service. We
give thanks to God for their presence in our fellowship and pray that together
we will build up this Body of Christ and serve the Lord! Look
for a complete listing of new members in next week’s issue of The
Chimes.

Lilies
Help beautify our church for Easter and remember or
honor a loved one. See the bulletin board for full details and to sign up for lilies. The cost per plant is $10. (Please note “Easter Lilies” on the memo line
of your check.) Lilies may be picked up
after the 11:00 a.m. service on Easter Day.
Membership Directory
If you don't have your pictorial directory binder
close to your phone, it's time to find it again. Pick
up an updated active membership directory and neighborhood groups list in the
Narthex today (1 per family).
We're missing pictures of our newer members
and others who were unavailable fall of 2006.
Through Olan Mills, a “midterm” photography update is April 2 (3-8:30 pm) for those who did
not have their picture taken last time.
All members with a pictorial directory will receive the new pages to add
to their directory. Look for sign-ups in
March.
Worship Assistant Sign-Up
The April sign-up sheet for
Worship Assistants (greeters, ushers, communion assistants, acolyte, crucifer,
torchbearer) is posted in the hallway across from the office. Please don't
forget to sign up for this important ministry for the worship service of your
choice (8:00, 9:30, or 11:00)! This will greatly reduce the amount of calling
that the schedulers have to do.

Lenten Calendars
Coin Folders and Coin Boxes
The
calendars and coin folders are available from the ushers table in the church
Narthex. The Ministry of Faith
Formation and Parish Nurse encourage you to use these
as part of your Lenten journeys. The
coin boxes went home with the children from their faith formation groups. The children are encouraged to decorate their
boxes and to fill them with money they have earned by doing jobs around the
house. The coin folders and boxes will be
collected on Easter Sunday and all money will go to the Rwanda School Project.
