The CRC is a new non-profit agency organized by the Healthy Community Council to enhance the effectiveness of community programs by bringing people and services together. The Information and Referral (I&R) component will:

§ Help people receive the information and referrals they need as easily and efficiently as possible

§ Provide caller advocacy in accessing services when needed

§ Follow-up to determine the outcome of transactions

§ Maintain and use an accurate, up-to-date resource database that contains information about available resources.

§ Collect and organize data and to identify service gaps and to provide support for community planning

§ Maintain and organize a Homeless Management Information System to support local agencies in accessing funds and support from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development

§ Work closely with SeniorNavigator to develop a complete and accurate services data-base.

§ Work closely with People Helping People to provide more available hours for both agency services.

The Volunteer Center component of the CRC will provide better access to volunteer opportunities, improve utilization of volunteers, advocate for community and volunteer issues, and mobilize resources to meet community needs and much more!
