"Free Range", "Organic" or Pastured Chicken?

Our small flocks are moved daily in bottomless shelters to graze fresh growing pasture. This protects chickens from predators, while allowing the advantages of exercise, fresh air and green forage. Unlike "free range" our pastured birds are never allowed back onto their own droppings, thus naturally breaking parasite cycles without drugs or dangerous chemicals.  Some commercial "free range" chickens only "have access" to pasture, but because of crowding, never actually get outside.

The "organic" label is now a big government and agri-business legal word game. USDA even allows old frozen birds to be called "fresh" if they havn't been frozen below zero degrees Fahrenheit. Birds raised in the same old high-stress factory structures, but fed politically correct rations, now use the "certified organic" label (upon fee payment).

By closely mimicking nature, by paying careful attention to the source and quality of our feed and by keeping flocks small, we produce chicken far surperior to government and industry's "organic" moniker in flavor, texture and healthfullness.

See for yourself that our fresh, home grown, old fashioned, pastured chicken is best.
