Financially strapped, but need to get your pet spayed or neutered?  The Shenandoah Valley Spay/Neuter Clinic is here and ready to help with the serious pet overpopulation problem in the Valley. It is located at 910 North Liberty Street in Harrisonburg, and offers low-cost dog and cat spay and neuter services to low-income individuals, animal shelters, and those caring for feral cats. All healthy cats and dogs over the age of 8 weeks and weighing at least 2 pounds are eligible. The clinic does not provide full-service or follow-up veterinary care.  General public prices are: Female dogs:  $65.00, male dogs: $55.00, female cats: $50.00, Male cats: $35.00, Vaccinations $8.00. Please note that we do our best to keep the site updated; however, the population at our busy shelter changes every minute we are in operation. We appreciate your understanding while we try to keep up. Holiday note: remember, during the holidays, our college volunteers are on break. Since we rely on their assistance handling the dogs for new pictures, the dog pages may not be updated with new animals as frequently as we would like.
