Cost: $80.00 per dog, or $65.00 per dog if adopted from a shelter or rescue organization
Class limited to 6 dogs
No puppies under 4 months of age
Must have proof of vaccinations including rabies prior to enrollment

This workshop is designed for the first time dog/puppy owner or for the experienced owner looking for help with a specific behavior issue. Due to limited space, this will be an information session only, so please do not bring your pet! (This is a one session only course)

The following topics will be discussed: Housebreaking, Crate Training, How to lure/reward- train to sit/down, Positive training/toys, Training bite inhibition, Dog-people/ dog-dog socialization, positive Reinforcement Basics/Clicker Training. Individual questions are encouraged. This is a workshop designed for you to learn what you want to know. A shelter dog will be used to demonstrate training techniques. Free to SPCA pet owners and members. For all others, $5.00. Call 434-5270 and ask for Candy Barnes, to reserve your spot!

Therapy Certification Class

WATCH FOR DATES IN THIS SPACE

This is a fun, 4 week instructional class that teaches manners, public safety and obedience to dogs and owners wishing to have their dogs Therapy Certified. Dogs and handlers will receive therapy ID's and therapy privileges at local approved nursing homes and childcare facilities. Dogs Registered for TCC must know and routinely perform basic obedience commands, be 100% non-aggressive and housetrained.
